my favorite instagram spots in north myrtle beach

Tuesday, June 6, 2017

I guess you could call today Travel Tuesday because I'm sharing some of my favorite Instagram-able locations you'll want to check out when you visit the Myrtle Beach area. If you're anything like me, we love a good photo op so we can post something cool to the 'gram. I've had years of experience scouting out and discovering great locations and without further ado, I'm letting you in on my best kept secrets.

McLean Park

McLean Park has a great little walking trail, a pond, a playground, tennis courts, and more but my favorite feature is a little section that's almost hidden by trees on the opposite side of the pond than the tennis courts. It has a fountain, beautiful brick work, and the prettiest foliage. I love taking Instagram pictures here and fortunately, there's almost never anyone in this area so it's not awkward and there's no one in the way of pictures.

The Wildflower

The Wildflower is a cute little shop on Main Street with all kinds of crafts and handmade items. Several different people sell their work in the shop. The reason I love The Wildflower is because they have super cute paintings on their outside walls. There's also a pretty blue wall on the building next door that's great for taking pictures because fun colored wall photos are big on Instagram right now.

BurgerFi

If you're looking for Instagram-able foods, I think BurgerFi is one of the top spots. I would say it's maybe kinda our version of Shake Shack in a way. Either way, you can get some pretty cool pictures from their burgers and the custard is definitely worth getting - if not for the 'gram, then because it's so good.

Calabash, NC

I'm definitely cheating here because not only is this one in a different city, it's in a different state. BUT, Calabash is maybe a 20 minute drive north from North Myrtle Beach and they have the best seafood restaurants. We make trips to Calabash pretty frequently for dinner and a photoshoot.

These are just a few of my favorite spots in North Myrtle Beach, but there's always something new to discover. I'm always keeping my eyes peeled for more cool spots and scenery. If you have any "Instagram guides" for other cities and locations, feel free to link them in the comments below so I can check them out!
