Where to Watch Christmas Movies

Friday, December 1, 2017

I hope you're excited because 1) it's December! and 2) Mads Maybe is officially starting blogmas today! Yep, that means you'll have 25 days of Christmas content, starting right NOW! Consider this your virtual advent calendar - I hope you'll check back every day to see what new surprise I've given you. I think you'll like today's gift...

'Tis the season to watch Christmas movies! I've made a list of all the best Christmas movies on a few different platforms so when you start seeing repeats in your movie marathon, you know where to go to find something new. From comedies to cartoons to romance, you have 25 days to watch them all! Let's get started!

Netflix

How the Grinch Stole Christmas // My favorite Christmas movie! It's a must-watch every holiday season - at least once and maybe even a few times!

Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas and Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas // Have a double feature with your favorite Disney characters.

A Christmas Prince // This new Netflix original was unexpected and well-made. Easily one of my favorites in the Netflix selection.

Naughty & Nice // Haylie Duff stars in this great Christmas love story and Jerry from Parks and Rec also plays a small role!

The Spirit of Christmas // I have so many questions about this one, but I really enjoyed it!

The Legend of Frosty the Snowman // A cartoon classic that never gets old.

12 Dates of Christmas // One of the few Freeform gems that's on Netflix! Ever wonder what it would be like to live Christmas Eve over and over? This one's for you.

The Nightmare Before Christmas // Take a break from the traditional Christmas movies to spend a little time with Jack and Sally. After all, no one really knows if this is a Halloween or Christmas movie.

Santa Buddies // If you need more puppies in your life this holiday season, you'll definitely find a few here!

Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas

Angry Angel // New for 2017, this movie stars Brenda Song (London Tipton from the Suite Life!) and seems to have Drop Dead Diva vibes.

The Polar Express // One of my personal favorite Christmas movies! It's being played often so you'll have multiple chances to see it throughout December and sing the hot chocolate song.

Elf // I think this is a cult classic that a lot of people just LOVE, but I'm not one of those people. However, it's on nearly every day of 25 days so we might as well watch it one time!

The Mistle-Tones // This is one of my favorite Freeform originals! It stars Tia Mowry and Tori Spelling - you might want to hit record on your DVR because it's only on the schedule twice (12/5 and 12/20), both times at 7:30 a.m.

Christmas with the Kranks // What a great Christmas movie! Jamie Lee Curtis and her husband in the film try to avoid Christmas, but their town is not having it.

Disney's A Christmas Carol // This updated version of the Christmas classic is another must-watch.

Hallmark Channel + Hallmark's Movies and Mysteries

Both Hallmark Channels are playing Christmas movies around the clock! If you're in the mood for a light-hearted romantic comedy, Hallmark Channel is for you. If you want more of an emotional drama, check out Hallmark's Movies and Mysteries. Pro tip: Hallmark Channel movies start on even hours (2 pm, 4 pm, 6pm, etc.) and Hallmark's Movies and Mysteries start on odds (1 pm, 3 pm, etc.)

Instead of listing all the new Hallmark movies this year or my favorites, I'm listing all the ones starring former 90210 stars below! You're welcome in advance.

Naomi Clark (Annalynne McCord) // The Christmas Parade

Adrianna Tate-Duncan (Jessica Lowndes) // Merry Matrimony

Debbie Wilson (Lori Laughlin) // Every Christmas Has a Story

Teddy Montgomery (Trevor Donovan) // Marry Me at Christmas

Annie Wilson (Shenae Grimes-Beech) // Christmas Incorporated

P.S. some other familiar faces you might see on the Hallmark Channel are Carlos + Alexa PenaVega in Enchanted Christmas! Carlos was in Big Time Rush and Alexa was Carmen in the Spy Kids series - the two are now married.
