CADE LARSON: Interview

This week, I've been learning a little bit more about a new artist from Florida, Cade Larson. It turns out we have a few things in common (hi Before You Exit) and I spent hours exploring his YouTube channel last night. Cade has an amazing voice and personality! I'm so happy we worked together.

1.What music genre would you classify your sound as?
I would classify my sound as Pop-Rock.

2. Which artists have inspired your music?
My music has been influenced by Ed Sheeran, The 1975, Disclosure, and John Mayer.

3. What are some of your short term and long term goals?
Some of my short term goals are to book some more shows and put out a new album. My long term goals are to win a Grammy, play arenas, and travel the world as a well-known musician.

4. What message are you hoping to convey to your audience?
I'm hoping that my music can be an escape from reality for people. I want people to be able to listen to my music and forget about their worries or depression and just enjoy the music experience.

5. What has been your favorite memory from your music career so far?
My favorite memory so far is playing my first big show at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando. It was the first time that I knew for sure that I want to do music full-time for the rest of my life.

6. What location would be your dream spot for a concert?
My dream concert is to play Coachella on the main stage as a headliner. Such a beautiful scenery and an incredible festival.

7. What's your favorite song currently and of all time?
I listen to so much music that this is so hard for me haha, but my favorite song at the moment is She Way Out by The 1975 and my favorite song of all time would probably have to be The Immortals by Kings of Leon.

8. Who would you love to open a show for?
I would LOVE to open for The 1975, Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran, or Bruno Mars.

9. What are some other cool things about yourself?
When I'm not making my own music, I LOVE working out, producing electronic dance music, and going to music festivals.

Now, I know you guys are super excited to hear Cade's music yourself so check out his Youtube Channel.
