Hey guys! I just got back from Walt Disney World {our trip coincided with Hurricane Florence's visit to NC, somehow} and I wanted so share a few pictures and talk about what we did in a short and sweet travel diary. We stayed at All Star Sports resort — checked in on Wednesday night and checked out yesterday {Monday} morning. We were on a quick service dining plan and got Halloween resort mugs!

On our first day in the parks, we went to Hollywood Studios for our first visit to Toy Story Land. I enjoyed the Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster and we rode the Alien Swirling Saucers three times. They kind of remind me of a tilt-a-whirl without the tilt, if that makes sense. Toy Story Land is so colorful and there are a lot of great spots for photos.

After we spent the morning in Toy Story Land, we went on the Tower of Terror and Star Tours, which were our other two FastPasses. We had lunch at my favorite quick service restaurant, Pizzerizzo. I still miss Pizza Planet, but the pizza hasn't changed and it's SO good. We also visited with Kylo Ren and the Star Lord and Baby Groot while in Hollywood Studios. I thought you would enjoy the only photo with Baby Groot that we ended up with — notice the lack of Star Lord's head and my brother not even being in it! This isn't cropped at all, this is the actual photo!!

Thursday night, we went over to EPCOT to see Vertical Horizon in the Eat to the Beat concert series and I got to hear "You're A God" from the front row! After this, we had dinner at the Electric Umbrella and, because you're able to get alcohol and specialty beverages with the dining plan now, I had a frozen strawberry margarita, which was really good.

On Friday, we went to Magic Kingdom where our FastPasses were for Space Mountain, Peter Pan's Flight, and the Seven Dwarves Mine Train. We had lunch at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe. After we spent some time on other rides and attractions {especially my favorite, the PeopleMover}, we went back to our hotel for an outfit change and tiny break before Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

At the Halloween party, we met Stitch in his Elvis costume and rode the three attractions that had special effects for the Halloween party: Pirates of the Caribbean {there are live pirates within the ride, I saw a total of 3}, the tea cups {not too sure what was different - special lighting and maybe music?}, and Space Mountain {the ride was in complete darkness - definitely a noticeable change and worth experiencing during the party!}.

We ate dinner at Pecos Bill's during the party where my brother tried the party exclusive, Hades Nachos. We visited several trick-or-treat trails and, towards the end of the night, we took a break with Dole Whip floats which I definitely recommend trying while you're in Magic Kingdom if you've never had a Dole Whip before! Finally, we ended the night with my favorite sisters at the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular on the castle stage at midnight. Friday was definitely a long day for us.

On Saturday, we went to EPCOT, where the Food and Wine Festival is currently taking place! I can't say that I tried any food or wine at the festival, but we did ride several rides! Our FastPasses were for Soarin', Living with the Land {my second favorite ride!}, and Spaceship Earth. We had lunch at Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavilion.

We took photos at the Disney Visa Card character spot with Minnie and Pluto {which you saw at the beginning of this post!} and enjoyed the short films in the theater nearby. After exploring the countries of EPCOT, we went back to our hotel and had dinner there while we rested. Later that night, we went over to Magic Kingdom to see the Happily Ever After fireworks show with projections on the castle. After the show, we took one last lap on the PeopleMover and then had ice cream sundaes on the hub grass.

We spent our last day in the parks at Animal Kingdom where we rode Kilimanjaro Safari, Avatar's Flight of Passage, Expedition Everest, and Dinosaur {which is probably my least favorite ride at Disney because it's so scary!!}. After lunch at Satu'li Canteen in Pandora, we watched Finding Nemo: The Musical and met some characters then I grabbed snacks {chicken fried rice from Yak & Yeti local markets & an iced PSL from Starbucks} before heading back to our hotel to cool off.

On Sunday night, we went over to Hollywood Studios to have dinner at the Backlot Express and watched Fantasmic. I got another iced PSL before leaving the park {yes, they were both ventis} and then we went back to our hotel to get ready to go home Monday morning! Before we left the resort, we used our last 10 snack credits on bakery items in the food court and then we ate pretty much all of these on our way home.

And that's a short recap of our trip! Have you been to Toy Story Land yet? What did you think?
