Halloweekend in Snapshots

Tuesday, October 30, 2018

Happy Halloween Eve! Soak up these last few days of Halloween and fall because at 12:00 AM on November 1, the world will suddenly turn into a Christmas winter wonderland. Seriously, you guys, Hallmark Channel has already had a Christmas movie premiere! It's OCTOBER! I'm honestly here for starting Christmas celebrations in November because one month really isn't enough, but it's disrespectful to Hocus Pocus to not give it the entire month of October. {p.s. check out my Thackery Binx hot chocolate in the photo above}.

I've seen a lot of cool costumes on social media and you might have seen mine — if not, you'll see it now! I dressed as Cruella de Vil with a wig from Amazon, a piece of white faux fur from my grandma's garage, and long red gloves. I was planning to wear a black dress, but I ended up wearing my black jumpsuit with a white tee shirt underneath because it was a little chilly. I went heavy with the red lipstick and mascara and I also darkened my brows and put on a little bit of dark grey eyeshadow.

I wore this costume to my church Halloween party where we ate s'mores and went on a hayride through the lights of Halloween. It was a lot of fun! We also painted {wooden} pumpkins and I've included a picture below of my brother, Jackson, painting his.

There are so many new spooky shows on Netflix, I'll never have time to watch them all before Halloween! I've got Making a Murderer season 2 and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on my list, but I haven't gotten started with them yet. Let me know in the comments if you've watched either of those and what you think! I actually watched a very short series on Netflix last week called North & South {it has four 50-minute episodes} and I really loved it! It's not at all Halloween related, but it's a historical drama, which I tend to love. It's perfect for a one-day binge watch.

If you're looking for more Halloween fun, check out my post from last year that includes all kinds of fun, from recipes to jokes, and it's not too late to host a fall girls night in inspired by last week's post! Be sure to read my list of anti-scary Halloween movies in the girls night post if you're looking for a good movie to watch on Halloween.

Let me know in the comments what your Halloween costume is this year and what you'll be doing to celebrate!
