The Great Christmas Light Show

by - Tuesday, December 11, 2018

Last Friday before the snow, my family and I went to The Great Christmas Light Show at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex. This was our third time going — it's a fun Christmas event. They have a drive-through light display with lots of different scenes, plus a section where you can walk around and participate in different activities.

Santa Claus has a little building there to take pictures and, this year, there was also an elf you could take a photo with. In addition to this, there are a few different photo opportunities including a giant ornament that you can sit inside of to take pictures.

There are also a few activities for an additional cost including a train ride through the lights, a giant blow up slide, an "ice skating" rink, a s'mores area, and a petting zoo. Along with s'mores, they have hot chocolate and other food available for purchase.

After we left the light show, we went to Krispy Kreme to get some holiday doughnuts! The plain ones are for me because, as much as I love a cute, festive dessert, I really prefer their original glazed. As many of you know, I am not a fan of icing.

So that's my festive weekend in photos!

Have you gone to see Christmas lights yet?
