My top favorites on Hulu - updated January 2022

TV Series

When you want drama that keeps you watching...

Little Fires Everywhere // I was hooked on this show because there are so many twists and events that keep you watching and wanting to know how the story unfolds in this strong female-led show. [1 season; complete]

Cruel Summer // This mystery drama is targeted to teens and set in the 90s. It's so interesting and brand new so it's currently one of the most talked about shows. [1 season; ongoing]

The Good Doctor // I've been watching The Good Doctor on ABC since it premiered. I'll be honest, this last season wasn't my favorite, but the first couple of seasons are really good and the show is definitely worth a watch!  [3 seasons; ongoing]

The Bold Type // Young women dramas are rare and almost always good. Think The Carrie Diaries, Gossip Girl. Not gonna lie, I found this one a little slow to get into, but around 5 episodes in, I was hooked. [4 seasons; ongoing]

Big Sky // This show is new to ABC this year and if you haven't been watching it, I encourage you to start! It keeps you on your toes and I'm not sure exactly where it is going, but at least for now, I'm hooked. [1 season; ongoing]

Looking for Alaska // We love a teen drama! If you loved John Green books turned movies like Paper Towns and The Fault in Our Stars, you will really enjoy this show. I also love that it's a short series — the perfect weekend binge. [1 season; complete]

When you want the perfect 20-30 minute show...

Younger // This show was genuinely so binge worthy and the exact genre of show that I love (think The Bold Type, Emily in Paris, etc.) [7 seasons; complete]

Only Murders in the Building // This show is a great mix of comedy and suspense. I can't wait to see what next season brings! [1 season; ongoing]

When you're in the mood for reality TV...

Keeping Up With The Kardashians // Love it or hate it, Keeping Up With The Kardashians is one of my favorites. They know how to run a show.  [17 seasons; ongoing]

90 Day FiancĂ© //
Sorry if there are any huge fans, but I'm a few seasons in and I think I would describe this show as a train wreck... but even though it's bad, I can't look away. It's interesting to say the least. [5 seasons; ongoing]

When you want a series you might have missed...

Baby Daddy // If you're around my age, you probably watched Baby Daddy on ABC Family growing up. It's so funny and you'll get so invested in the drama. [6 seasons; complete]

Desperate Housewives // If you're up for a time commitment, this is a lengthy series that is packed with drama. Not to be confused with the Real Housewives reality series, this show is completely fictional. [8 seasons; complete]

Reba // Once again, if you grew up watching ABC Family, you'll know. And if you didn't, now is the time to find out! [6 seasons; complete]

Scream Queens //
Only one of the greatest shows to ever be on television. If you missed its all too short run, it's never too late to enjoy.  [2 seasons; complete]

One Tree Hill // Obviously, One Tree Hill is based in my home state, North Carolina, so that's one reason to watch, but it is also such a good teen drama series! It is definitely dated if you are watching it now, but great shows never get old. [9 seasons; complete]

When you're in the mood for suspense...

A Simple Favor // A Simple Favor is wild. Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively are probably two of your favorite actresses so that's one reason to watch. Another would be trying to figure out what is going on throughout the whole movie.

47 Meters Down // This is one of the most anxiety-inducing movies I have ever seen. You won't catch me in the ocean after this one.

When you're in the mood for a classic...

The Princess Bride // If you don't have Disney+ then The Princess Bride is also available on Hulu! It's one of my favorite movies.
