Sweet Treats | Valentine's Day Dip

Valentine's Day might look different this year, but that doesn't mean you can't treat yourself to some fun and festive snacks! You may have heard of the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake dip that was extremely popular in December. We made it for New Year's Eve and we liked it so much we decided to create a Valentine's Day version!

This dip is SO simple and SO yum! You only need 4 ingredients: 1 bar of cream cheese, 1 tub of Cool Whip, vanilla extract, and of course, a box of Little Debbie "Be My Valentine" snack cakes. We used the pink ones but I see no reason why you couldn't use chocolate ones.

To make the dip, we used our hand mixer to blend the cream cheese and Cool Whip with a dash of vanilla extract. Once these were mixed, we unwrapped the Little Debbie cakes and tossed them into the bowl. We saved two cakes to add to the top of the finished dip for aesthetic purposes.

After adding in the cakes we mixed the dip again. You'll want to blend the cakes into the dip but keep some of their texture, so don't over-mix. You'll know it's ready when there are small pieces of cake throughout the dip.

Finally, you'll just want to transfer some of your dip over to a serving bowl and place one or two heart cakes on top. Serve with fruit, cookies, and whatever you like. My personal favorites for dipping are apples, strawberries, and graham crackers. So delicious!
